The 9th Plugfest is jointly organised by German TV-Platform and DTG in cooperation with Ultra HD Forum, and hosted by German TV-Platform (DTVP) and DTG in Berlin at 3IT / Fraunhofer HHI from 5th to 6th December 2018. The 9th Plugfest will essentially focus on UHD live content. Other aspects could be added according the needs of the participants.
The equipment line-up will include TV sets and set-top boxes. The idea is to provide an opportunity for interoperability testing and create an event which technically reproduces production, contribution, processing, distribution and consumption issues from the 2018 FIFA World Cup and other recent live sports events.
