SID-ME Fall Meeting 2016

The Society for Information Display (SID), the world’s most important society in display science and technology, organized its yearly Mid-Europe Chapter Fall Meeting at Fraunhofer HHI in Berlin, from 3-4 November.

The focus of this fall’s meeting was on three topics:

1. High-end Display Applications (incl. ruggedized, automotive, outdoor and medical)
2. 3D and Virtual/Augmented Reality
3. Quantum Dots and Lighting

Symposium lectures were also part of the program, next to the SID-ME Chapter student Award 2016. This year the 1500 Student Award was granted to the best student contribution to the Fall Meeting 2016.

The program was divided over two days, starting the first day at noon, and ending the second day at noon including a guided tour through the demonstration labs of Fraunhofer HHI:
